A Legacy of Fiordland Hospitality
For over 50 years, the Tauri family has been at the heart of hospitality in Fiordland, welcoming visitors to experience the region’s breathtaking beauty.
Valerie and Colin Tauri first arrived in Fiordland in 1961, working at Cascade Creek along the Milford Road before settling in Te Anau in 1963. They soon took over the management of what was then the Te Anau AA Motor Camp—now known as Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park & Motels.
In 1975, their son Clint stepped into a leadership role, managing the holiday park before officially taking over the lease with his wife, Jill, in 1983. Since then, the Tauri family has expanded their passion for tourism, growing multiple businesses that provide exceptional accommodation and adventure experiences across Fiordland.
Today, the Tauri family continues to welcome visitors, sharing their deep connection to Fiordland and their commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences.
